David Cole started Metro Concrete Company 36 years ago in September 1971. Mr. Cole grew up in Macon, GA, and is a graduate of Lanier High School. While going through high school he worked for two Ready-Mix concrete plants as a dispatcher. After graduation Mr. Cole attended Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, GA. where he received a BA Degree. From there he went to Georgia Southwestern College in Americus, GA. where he earned a BS degree in 1971 in Business Administration. During this time he also worked at Reeves Construction Co. as a concrete and equipment dispatcher. After graduation Mr. Cole moved to the North Atlanta area and started Metro Concrete Company.

Metro Concrete Company has been run successfully by him for the past 36 years. Mr. Cole is also a member of the Alpharetta Masonic Lodge 235 and has worked with the American Cancer Society and Cystic Fibrosis Society as a volunteer. He now resides in Forsyth County. Mr. Cole has always strived to provide quality concrete and service on every project, whether residential or commercial.
